A meter long seconds precision clock pendulum, invented by Alvin Lawrence of Lowell, Mass, and patented by him on January 15, 1889, US Pat No. 396,095, and the face of the bob nicely engraved with the following = LAWRENCE'S PATENT, JAN 15, 1889
CONDITION:
there is rust on the side steel rods, and the fine adjustment slider weights are frozen in the rust. Face of the pendulum has some corrosion, but no dents. Care must be taken with polishing not to lose wire brush pattern. Overall complete and restorable and useful for a small number of American regulators. Overall length, tip to tip 46"
